Safe. Happy. Loved.
Our Sanctuary Mission

Animals give us unconditional love. We simply give them the same in return.

Midas
This independent Haflinger marches to his own drum and always keeps us on our toes. Midas is a bit of a mischief maker and proudly serves as Yeti’s shadow—the two are inseparable. Beneath all that playful trouble, he has a true heart of gold and loves to be loved just as much as he loves stirring up fun. Whether they’re exploring the pasture or causing a little harmless chaos, Midas is always right by his best friend’s side.

Philippe
Philippe is the gentlest of giants. Rescued from an Amish farm after 15 years of loyal service, this sweet soul is finally getting the chance to rest and just be loved. With his calm eyes and steady presence, he shows everyone who meets him how kind and forgiving horses can be when they’re given a second chance.
Meet Our Friends
Discover the stories of our horse and farm animal rescue through the animals we rescued and who have found their forever home at the sanctuary.

Yeti
Yeti is the horse who started it all. When we brought him home, our love for animals and our desire to create a safe place for them were rekindled in a powerful way. This blue roan Quarter Draft may look impressive, but he is gentle at heart and loves nothing more than being hugged and loved on. Yeti reminds us every day why this sanctuary exists.

King
King is a beloved Warmblood Oldenburg who spent 13 happy years showing with his first family. When it was time for him to retire, we were honored to give him a soft landing here at the sanctuary. Standing 17 hands high and now around 17 years old, he’s a gentle soul who reminds us every day why senior horses deserve a peaceful, loving home.

Sophie
Some horses are more whoa than go—but Sophie is all go and no whoa. Her favorite gait is a full gallop, and even at 16 years old with Cushing’s, she hasn’t slowed down one bit. This spirited Thoroughbred lives for speed, sunshine, and good company, and she absolutely loves getting scratches on her neck.

Maple
Raised as a beef cow, Maple refused to step on the trailer that would take her to slaughter—and that brave moment changed her life. When we first got her, she was very afraid of people and kept her distance. With time, patience, and gentle care, Maple has learned to trust. Now she loves to be petted, to play, and to soak up all the attention she once thought she had to fear.
